连杀记录器（Killstreak Kits）是一种能应用于指定的武器上，使其升级成为连杀记录式武器的工具物品。

当装备了连杀记录式武器时，连杀计数将会出现在玩家的 HUD 上，跟踪记录任何连杀记录式武器造成的杀敌数，并且死亡后会重置。玩家的连杀数会显示在得分板上和杀敌提示中，数字随着连杀数而增加。每 5 次杀敌（曼恩 vs. 机器中则为 20)，一条信息将会显示在服务器中，包含了玩家名字和当前连杀数。

注释：当拥有连杀记录式武器的玩家杀敌后会增加连杀数。该玩家另一件武器的杀敌不会计入连杀数除非这也是一把连杀记录式武器。另外，使用连杀记录式医疗枪的医生不会在杀敌提示中有任何效果，尽管连续助攻数仍会计数并显示在HUD上。而携带连杀记录式扳手的工程师在扳手杀敌和步哨杀敌后，在杀敌提示后都会显示。

  • Upon getting a kill with the Killstreak kit attached on Your Eternal Reward or Spy-cicle, the user will appear in the enemy team's killfeed.
  • The sheen effects do not display when running DirectX 8 setups.
  • Any of the Demoman's shields will display the same sheen as the current melee item.
  • The Killstreak counter will overlap with Magic spells when equipped together.
  • If the player is to gain kills while dead, the player's overall Killstreak will not increase, but the weapon in the kill feed will have gained the amount killed while that player is dead.
  • If a Pyro deflects a projectile from a Killstreak weapon that kills an enemy, they will have the Killstreak indicator next to the kill icon, even if they are not using a Killstreak weapon.
  • If a Killstreak weapon is used to kill an enemy and is then changed in the loadout and changed back, the counter will start at 1 again in the killfeed, but the streak overlay will remain the same number.
  • Killstreaks that are ended due to environmental deaths, provided another player isn't credited for finishing them off, are credited to ERRORNAME.
  • The Hypno-Beam effect does not display through wearable glasses.
  • When the High Five! taunt is used by a Heavy wielding a Specialized or Professional Killstreak Minigun and Ham Shank, their hands will glow the color of the sheen represented by that kit.
    • The same can be said for an Engineer wearing a Gunslinger and a Specialized or Professional Killstreak Shotgun, where taunting would carry to the Gunslinger.
