All will fear my giant new gun.
The Heavy, upon receiving his giant new gun

The Brass Beast is an unlockable primary weapon for the Heavy as part of the Hibernating Bear set. It is inspired by historic mid-1800's gatling guns, with brass plating and modifications that allow it to be carried and fired with ease.

The penalties of the Brass Beast are similar to that of the Heavy prior to the April 28, 2010 Patch, having both slower wind-up/down time and slower movement speed while the gun is deployed. The penalties are even greater, however, to balance the increased damage.
