"Saluting the Fallen" is one of the song titles featured on the official Team Fortress 2 Soundtrack, listed as track number 33. It was added in the May 1, 2020 Patch to honour the memory of Rick May, voice actor of the Soldier, who passed away on April 8, 2020.

Trivia
- This is one of the two known tributes to Rick May added by Valve to the game following his passing on April 8, 2020.[1] The other was a statue added to several Maps.
- This is a rendition of Taps, a classic horn melody used at funerals and memorials in the United States Armed Forces.
- On May 1, 2020, when starting up the game after applying the update, the track will play on the Main Menu alongside the Soldier class image. The Soldier is, at the moment, the only class known to appear on the main menu on this day.
