The P.D.Q. is an unlockable melee weapon for the Engineer in the closed beta, the attributes of which were leaked by testers. The P.D.Q. does not yet possess a unique model, texture, or animations; using the same as the regular wrench. The P.D.Q. cannot be used to upgrade buildings, instead increasing the Engineer's rate of construction by 150% percent. It is not yet known whether damage values vary from the regular wrench.
The Gunslinger, while it doesn't apply to dispensers and teleporters, can build sentries very fast, but can't upgrade them. It could be possible that the P.D.Q was just an early prototype of the new weapon.
Trivia
- The name is a reference to the abbreviated acronym for "Pretty Damn Quick" (alternatively "Pretty Darn Quick" or "Please Do Quickly"), sometimes appended to the end of an instruction or command to communicate urgency.
