The Fragmentation Grenade, or Frag Grenade, was to be a weapon in Team Fortress 2. Its function was likely to have been the same as in Team Fortress Classic, where it was the default 'regular' grenade for the classes and would simply create a small explosion akin to a grenade launcher grenade, possessing no special abilities in particular. The Soldier carries two frag grenades on his belt which are used solely for his suicidal Kamikaze; he rather irresponsibly interacts with them in Meet the Soldier.
