August 19, 2008 Patch (A Heavy Update)
- [Undocumented] The Fists taunt now kills those in front of the Heavy.
- [Undocumented] Added a new taunt used by the Killing Gloves of Boxing.
- Eating a Sandvich using the taunt method now heals a Heavy to full health.
- Fixed being able to eat your Sandvich (via taunt) and drop it in the same frame.
- Fixed the Heavy's fists being hidden while taunting.
September 30, 2010 Patch (Mann-Conomy Update)
- [Undocumented] Added an unused "high-five" taunt.
- The Gloves of Running Urgently now using the boxing taunt.

- Added Schadenfreude taunt, at the time unused.
Trivia
- The Sandvich, Dalokohs Bar, Buffalo Steak Sandvich, and Fishcake share the taunt animation when using the primary fire button, which also triggers the edible items' special effect.
- The K.G.B., G.R.U., Fists of Steel, and Warrior's Spirit taunt is likely an homage to Mr. Sandman's warm-up technique from Nintendo's Template:W game.
