The Big Mean Mother Hubbard is an experimental primary weapon for the Engineer that was being play-tested by Valve. The existence of this weapon was first discovered in the form of filename strings found in some .lst files from before the May 13, 2013 Patch when all .lst files in the tf\reslists folder were deleted;

Trivia

• The Big Mean Mother Hubbard's design is a shotgun with what possibly might be an exhaust pipe based on the shape of the De Lisle Carbine with a comically rounded barrel. The De Lisle Carbine was a British Gun that's inner suppression made it one of most silent weapons manufactured.
