士兵（Soldier）来自美国的中西部地区，是一位疯狂的极端爱国主义者。他全副武装且坚韧不拔，无论进攻还是防守，他都能以全面的能力在其中独当一面，是新玩家上手游戏的极佳选择。

作为《军团要塞2》中最为灵活的兵种之一，士兵兼具优秀且平衡的生存能力与机动能力。尽管基础移动速度较低，但他能够通过使用火箭跳来迅速抵达目标区域。同时他还有着仅次于机枪手的最大生命值，以及数量众多的武器装备可供选择，而这使他能够灵活地应对各种战斗环境。
