The Bonk'n'Flash was a scrapped community-created headwear item for the Scout. It is a helmet styled after the mask worn by the DC Comics superhero Template:W, who had the ability to move at superhuman speeds.
This hat was entered in the Polycount Pack contest as part of an item set with a theme centered around Bonk! Atomic Punch.
A texture for this item was found within Team Fortress 2's GCF files following the Mann-Conomy Update's release, which has since been removed.
Trivia
- While this hat remains unused, all other items from BANG!'s Bonk-themed item set were later incorporated into The #1 Fan item set in the Über Update. A new miscellaneous item called the Bonk Boy, also created by BANG!, was added in this item's place.
