Soul Gargoyle Sad Tool - Souls Collected: 0 (Merasmissions Completed: 0) (Halloween Transmutes Performed: 0) The Soul Gargoyle grants access to Merasmissions during the Scream Fortress event each year. You can level up the gargoyle by collecting souls. Souls can be found by killing enemies, completing Merasmissions and finding Soul Gargoyles. Levels up at 666, 1337, 2000 and then every 2000 Souls. Provides access to Halloween transmutes where you can transmute 3 items for a non-tradable Halloween item from years past. A bonus is given for every 10 transmutes. ( Not Tradable or Usable in Crafting )

The Soul Gargoyle is an item received which grants access to Merasmissions. This item is obtained by logging on to Team Fortress 2 anytime during the Scream Fortress 2015 or Scream Fortress 2016 Halloween event. It also provides access to the Halloween Transmute feature. The Soul Gargoyle returned during the Scream Fortress 2016 Halloween event.

Leveling Up

The gargoyle starts at Stone quality and is leveled up with souls collected. The gargoyle's current quality will appear on the scoreboard next to the player's name. A player can receive souls by killing or assisting in killing enemy players, completing map objectives such as capturing a Control Point or pushing the Payload , or by finding and collecting a soul gargoyle that appears at random throughout the event.

Halloween Transmuting

Main article: Halloween Transmute

Accessible via a sub-menu, the Halloween Transmute feature allowed players to trade in three qualifying items in exchange for an untradable, uncraftable cosmetic item from a previous Scream Fortress event.

• Each level of the Soul Gargoyle is holding a different item.
  • The Sad Soul Gargoyle is holding a skull.
  • The Silly Soul Gargoyle is holding a twelve-sided die. The die's sides consist of the nine class emblems, a Saxton Hale emblem, a cigarette emblem (signifying the Administrator), and a swan emblem.
