The Branding Iron is a scrapped melee weapon for the Pyro. Although lacking most of it's textures, its model is of an oversized branding iron which bears the initials 'TF' on its head.

Within game_sounds_weapons.txt, the Fire Axe has the heading BRANDING IRON, suggesting this weapon was scrapped in favor of the Axe.

Currently the only known texture for this scrapped weapon is that of it's viewmodel, which can be found in the files for the Xbox 360 release of The Orange Box.
