连杀记录器（Killstreak Kits）是一种能应用于指定的武器上，使其升级成为连杀记录式武器的工具物品。
当装备了连杀记录式武器时，连杀计数将会出现在玩家的HUD上，跟踪记录任何连杀记录式武器造成的杀敌数，并且死亡后会重置。玩家的连杀数会显示在得分板上和杀敌提示中，数字随着连杀数而增加。每 5 次杀敌（曼恩 vs. 机器中则为 20)，一条信息将会显示在服务器中，包含了玩家名字和当前连杀数。
更高级的连杀记录式武器还会有装饰性效果：标准的连杀记录式武器只有连杀计数，高级连杀记录式武器则有光泽，而职业连杀记录式武器在使用者眼部增加了粒子效果。不过眼部的粒子效果只有在 5 连杀后才能看见， 当 10 连杀后效果会变得引人注目。

Standard Killstreak Kits are the most common variety, and are rewarded after every completed tour of Operation Two Cities which may be applied to its assigned weapon. Upon application, it will add a HUD kill counter in addition with the ability to display your killstreak in the killfeed to everyone to see, indicated by a number and a small arrow next to the kill icon. At the end of each round, the player with the highest killstreak is displayed on the final scoreboard.
The following killstreak killfeed messages are:

- 5 次玩家杀敌或 20 次机器人杀敌：无人能挡（Unstoppable）

高级连杀记录器
The next tier of Killstreak Kits. In addition to a kill counter, a Specialized Kit also applies a colored sheen to the weapon. As the player's streak increases, the sheen becomes more intense. Specialized Kits are obtained by completing Specialized Killstreak Kit Fabricators, which can be found as a random reward from completing Operation Two Cities.
The following sheen colors are available:

The final tier of Killstreak Kits, Professional Kits are the rarest variation. In addition to a kill counter and a colored sheen, Professional Killstreak Kits also cause the weapon to add a particle effect to the user's eyes. Professional Kits are obtained by completing Professional Killstreak Kit Fabricators, which can be found as a rare random reward from completing Operation Two Cities.
While the weapon is equipped and the player has a streak of at least five, the eye effect will become visible. This effect, similar to that of the Eyelander, will match the color of the weapon's sheen. The effect will become more intense when the streak passes 10 kills.
The following effects are available:

- Upon getting a kill with the Killstreak kit attached on Your Eternal Reward or Spy-cicle, the user will appear in the enemy team's killfeed.
- The sheen effects do not display when running DirectX 8 setups.
- Any of the Demoman's shields will display the same sheen as the current melee item.
- The Killstreak counter will overlap with Magic spells when equipped together.
- If the player is to gain kills while dead, the player's overall Killstreak will not increase, but the weapon in the kill feed will have gained the amount killed while that player is dead.
- If a Pyro deflects a projectile from a Killstreak weapon that kills an enemy, they will have the Killstreak indicator next to the kill icon, even if they are not using a Killstreak weapon.
- If a Killstreak weapon is used to kill an enemy and is then changed in the loadout and changed back, the counter will start at 1 again in the killfeed, but the streak overlay will remain the same number.
- Killstreaks that are ended due to environmental deaths, provided another player isn't credited for finishing them off, are credited to ERRORNAME.
- The Hypno-Beam effect does not display through wearable glasses.
- When the High Five! taunt is used by a Heavy wielding a Specialized or Professional Killstreak Minigun and Ham Shank, their hands will glow the color of the sheen represented by that kit.
- The same can be said for an Engineer wearing a Gunslinger and a Specialized or Professional Killstreak Shotgun, where taunting would carry to the Gunslinger.
