The Soul Gargoyle is an item received which grants access to Merasmissions. This item is obtained by logging on to Team Fortress 2 anytime during the Scream Fortress 2015 or Scream Fortress 2016 Halloween event. It also provides access to the Halloween Transmute feature. The Soul Gargoyle returned during the Scream Fortress 2016 Halloween event.

Ranks

Much like Strange Weapons the Soul Gargoyle has rankings, but with a slight cheerful twist like "Happy" and "Joyous". The Soul Gargoyle ranks up by collecting souls. You can receive souls by killing or assisting in killing enemy players, completing map objectives such as capturing a Control Point or pushing the Payload, or by finding and collecting a Soul Gargoyle that appears at random throughout the event.
