The Catapult is a scrapped Engineer building seen in footage of a leaked Team Fortress 2 "staging" (indev) build alongside other features that were being worked on for the scrapped Spy vs Engineer WAR! update.
In November of 2019, a leaked "Staging" build of Team Fortress 2 from around the time of the Gun Mettle update was shown off on Twitch[1]. Within this staging build were many features that were to be part of the scrapped Spy vs Engineer WAR! update. Many features shown off were rudimentary in setup. The Catapult was one such feature that was shown off. The Catapult was a modified Teleporter that worked similar to the player launchers in the Passtime gamemode, launching the user into the air with some forward momentum. In the end, the building, along with the entire Spy vs Engineer WAR! update was scrapped.
The Catapult was also somewhat teased in Lecture Valley[2]
