"Faster Than a Speeding Bullet" is one of the song titles featured from the official Team Fortress 2 soundtrack, listed as track number five. It is the song featured in Meet the Scout, as well as being one of the 33 main menu startup themes. It is the second track to be added via patch subsequent to the game's release.

Similar to The Art of War, the predominant feature of this track is its percussion section. Different though is the flute, which plays a melody similar in style to Playing With Danger.

Tension within the track is largely derived from the the bongo parts, the disorienting and chromatic bass line, and flute (which utilizes an extended technique named "flutter tonguing"). These elements give the song a pre-fight feel, despite a rather sparse instrumentation at times, which is changed to a sense of flying when percussion and low piano hits are introduced. Later, a piano's moving bass line is introduced, and though fast and chromatic, still focuses on notes of an E minor chord. Near the end, in a climax of tension, the percussion and piano build alongside with the brass, finally resolving on an E diminished triad (E, G, Bb) with an added fourth, A.
