도움말:번역 전환

번역 전환은 위키에 전반에 걸쳐 많은 템플릿과 그 밖에 다른 알림 문구(Message box)에 사용됩니다. 이 기능은 {{lang}} 템플릿으로 해당 페이지의 언어명을 감지하여 문자를 전환합니다. 이 기능의 주된 목적은 모든 언어판을 하나의 템플릿으로 유지하는 것입니다.

예를 들어서 예전에는 번역가가 'Template:Cleanup/ru' 식으로 각 언어마다 페이지를 따로 만들어서, 이로 인해 잘못 배치되거나 일관성이 없는 현지화 템플릿이 많이 발생하게 되었습니다. 이제는 번역가가 간단하게 기존의 Template:Cleanup 페이지에 코드를 몇 줄 추가하여 러시아어 페이지에서 사용하면, 템플릿은 자동적으로 그 페이지의 해당 문자를 러시아어로 전환하여 나타냅니다.

번역 전환은 어디에 쓰입니까?

일반적으로 모든 템플릿에 쓰입니다. 특히, 이 기능은 정보 상자(infoboxes)나 보완 알림(Maintenance messages)도 포함합니다.

현지화 문자열을 추가하는 방법

1. 템플릿 목록에서 번역 전환을 사용할 템플릿을 선택합니다.
2. 템플릿을 수정하여 문자열을 추가합니다 (편의상 알파벳 순서대로 사용하십시오).
3. 페이지 하단부분의 {{translation switching}}이나 {{ts}}에 해당 언어 코드를 추가하여 템플릿을 업데이트합니다.

참고로 {{ 괄호 }} 내부에서는 줄바꿈에 제한이 없으나, 외부에서는 공백이나 줄바꿈이 전혀 없어야 합니다.

언어 링크

때로는 언어에 따라서 링크를 전환해야 하는 경우도 있습니다. 이 경우 템플릿은 다음과 같이 표시되어 있을 것입니다.

그러나 이렇게 할 경우 링크는 Welcome/fr가 아니라 Welcome으로 걸려집니다. 이에 대해서는 다음 작업을 수행하십시오.

{{if lang}} tests whether the page is a language page, and if it is, it'll output the language code (in this case, it's /fr). So the link in this example will go to Welcome/fr, and the text displayed on the link will be French, as well.

여기서 중요한 것은 ([[Hats {{if lang}}]]처럼) {{if lang}} 앞에는 공백이 없어야합니다. 이것은 왜냐하면 이대로 링크를 사용할 경우, 예를 들어 프랑스어에서는 Hats/fr가 아니라 Hats_/fr로 링크되기 때문입니다.

{{lang cat}} can be particularly handy for placing some templates in categories based on their language. For example, {{lang cat|Soldier}} will place German pages in Category:Soldier/de, and French pages in Category:Soldier/fr.
