This article is for content released in the update. For the patch itself, see July 18, 2024 Patch.
The Summer 2024 Update, also labelled as simply Summer 2024, was a major seasonal update for Team Fortress 2 that was released on July 18th, 2024. It introduced 10 new maps, 23 new cosmetic items, 4 new taunts, and 38 new Unusual effects in total (18 for cosmetics and 20 for taunts). Additionally, all Unusual items unboxed from cases during the update's event come with one of the new effects instead of their regular effects.
