The Scotsman's Skullcutter is a community melee weapon wielded by the Demoman. It appears as a bloodied battle-axe with a wooden shaft and spiked handguard.

This weapon functions similarly to the Eyelander in that it has a large melee range and will decapitate enemies, but it is not enchanted and will not collect power each time. It is however able to deal 20% extra damage and will recieve random Critical hits. The axe also appears to have considerable weight as it slows the Demoman down from 280 units/second (93% of normal speed) to 238 units/second (78% of normal speed). This is 8 units/second faster than a Heavy and 2 units/second slower than a Soldier, making him the second slowest class with it equipped. This item was released in the May 20, 2010 Patch under the second round of Contribute! content.

The Demoman to the beheaded Soldier

The Scotsman's Skullcutter is a community-created melee weapon for the Demoman. It is a bloodied double-bit battle-axe with a wooden shaft and spiked crossguard.

The Scotsman's Skullcutter bears similarities to the Demoman's swords, with 50% increased melee range and 75% slower deploy/holster speeds.[1] Unlike the swords, it does not have random Critical hits disabled, meaning that it does not require a shield in order to deal Critical hits. In addition, it deals 20% more damage than the Bottle. A single Critical hit can kill any class that is not overhealed, excluding the Heavy.

While the weapon is active, it slows the Demoman down from 280 Hammer units/second (93% of normal speed) to 238 units/second (79% of normal speed). This is 8 units/second faster than a Heavy and 2 units/second slower than a Soldier, making him the second slowest class while the weapon is active.

The kill icon for the Scotsman's Skullcutter was contributed by NeoDement .
