Violent Violet Footprints is a tool item. Using it on a cosmetic item and then wearing results in peach-colored flames being left in the player's wake as they run.
Prior to Scream Fortress 2015, it could be found during Halloween events either from Haunted Halloween Gifts on Ghost Fort or from a Pile of Curses.

- Enabled Halloween Spell Potions.
- Effects will only be visible during Halloween/Full Moon events.
- All Halloween event items have automatically expired.
- [Undocumented] Halloween spells are no longer tradable.

Bugs
- The backpack icon incorrectly uses the coloring overlay intended for paint cans.
Notes
- Footprints spells don't stack.
- If a player has two items with footprint spells equipped at the same time, the game will always display the spell effect on equipped "misc" items.
- Any unused Halloween Spell items are removed at the end of a Halloween event.
- This item does not erase paint, and can be used with other spells at the same time.
