Squash Rockets is a tool item. When applied to any of the Soldier's rocket launchers, any rocket fired by the weapon gains a purple trail and explodes orange in a similar manner to Pumpkin Bombs.
Casting certain Magic spells while equipping a weapon enchanted with this item causes the effects of the weapon's spell to carry over to the Magic spells (specifically the changes in projectile and explosion effects). The projectiles of the Magic spells Fireball, Ball O' Lightning, and Meteor Storm gain a purple smoke trail, while the explosions of projectiles from the Magic spell "Summon MONOCULUS" become orange Pumpkin Bomb effects.
Prior to Scream Fortress 2015, it could be found during Halloween events inside of Haunted Halloween Gifts on Ghost Fort, or from a Pile of Curses.

Bugs
- This item's backpack icon incorrectly uses the coloring overlay intended for paint cans.
- This item can be applied to the Cow Mangler 5000, but will not cause the Squash Rockets effect as the Cow Mangler 5000's projectiles already have a unique team-colored trail and explosion effects.
Notes
- Any unused Halloween Spell items are removed at the end of a Halloween event.
- In the same manner as Gourd Grenades and Sentry Quad-Pumpkins, items that have the Squash Rockets spell applied indicate "Halloween: Pumpkin Bombs" in the Loadout.
- This item cannot be applied to the stock Rocket Launcher but may be applied to its Strange variants.
- This item cannot be applied to the Rocket Jumper.
