'''Natascha''' is the second unlockable weapon for the [[Heavy]] that replaces the [[Minigun]] and is unlocked after completing 16 [[Heavy achievements]]. Natascha is listed as a Level 5 Minigun in the loadout menu. Each bullet that hits instantly slows the target by a small amount, stacking until the victim's speed is reduced to a minimum of approximately 113 units per second. So enemies taking damage from her are forced to face the Heavy. Unfortunately, her firepower is 25% weaker than that of the normal Minigun, so the Heavy will find it takes longer to finish enemies off. Combined with damage falloff and a large cone of fire, it's best to fire at close range. As a result, Natascha is great to use against the more agile classes such as [[Scout]]s and [[Medic]]s or enemies who rely on close range for their attacks such as [[Pyro]]s and [[Spy|Spies]]. Conversely, it not as effective against classes who can kill you at range. Heavies that like to jump around corners to surprise groups of enemies will also find it very useful, because Natascha makes a noticeably quieter (yet distinct) sound than the normal Minigun. Before you do that, though, it's best to make sure there isn't a Sasha-wielding Heavy there.

The Natascha is an unlockable primary weapon for the Heavy. Similar in appearance to the default Minigun, the weapon's ammunition carrier is colored jet black instead, and from it emerges an additional chain belt, layered on the right of the gun, that feeds into the barrel.

Each bullet fired by the Natascha slows any enemy hit to a speed of 113 Hammer units per second (roughly 7.75 km/h or 4.81 mph) for a brief period of time, unless they are being actively healed by a source of continuous healing (for example, a Medic's Medi Gun, the Amputator's taunt, or a Dispenser); the speed penalty inflicted by each bullet decreases the further away a target moves. When spun-up, the weapon grants 20% damage resistance if the player's health falls below 50% of base health upon being hit. However, the Natascha has a 30% longer spin-up time, and fires bullets that deal 25% less damage than those of the default Minigun.

The Natascha is automatically awarded to any player who obtains 16 Heavy achievements.
