Halloween Spells are single use tool items that are used to give various Halloween themed effects to weapons or hats depending on what spell it is. They were added in the Spectral Halloween Special. It should be noted that not only do the Spell Items expire on November 9th, but the spell effects upon other items expire on November 9th as well.

They can be found inside Haunted Halloween Gifts on the map Ghost Fort.

  • When trying to apply a spell to a stock weapon, you are able to select it from the backpack and a confirmation message appears, but the effect is not applied and the spell is still consumed.
  • Spells meant to be used with only one class can be applied to multiclass accessories, granting the spell's ability to whatever class wears the affected accessory.
  • Disguised and/or Cloaked Spies wearing hats with footprint effects will still have the footprints appear as they move.
  • When a weapon with the Exorcism spell activates a Spy's Dead Ringer, no ghosts appear.
  • Gourd Grenades cannot be aplied to The Sticky Jumper.
