Spectral Flame is a tool item. When applied to any of the Pyro's primary weapons, the flames produced will be a mixture of red and green. Players ignited by the flamethrower will also be surrounded by green flames. When used on the Phlogistinator, the usual "wave of energy" effect is replaced with normally shaped green flames.
Prior to Scream Fortress 2015, It could be found during Halloween events inside of Haunted Halloween Gifts on Ghost Fort, or from a Pile Of Curses.

- Halloween Spell: Spectral Flame was added to the game.

- Enabled Halloween Spell Potions
- Effects will only be visible during Halloween/Full Moon events.
- Enabled Halloween Spell Potions
- Updated Halloween Spells to be tradable

Bugs
- When applied to the Phlogistinator, the unique particle effect for flames is replaced with normal flames.
- When applied to the Rainblower, the unique particle effect for flames is replaced with normal flames.
- The backpack icon incorrectly uses the coloring overlay intended for paint cans.
- Spectral Flames do not affect gibs when cl_burninggibs 1 is enabled.
- This item cannot be applied to Stock weapons.
- The flames will follow an enemy Spy for a short time if he activates the Dead Ringer while on fire with Spectral Flames.
- This will also happen with the Spy-cicle.
