Squash Rockets is a tool item. When applied to a weapon, it gives each rocket fired by the weapon a purple trail and an orange explosion. It can be applied to most of Soldier's primary weapons; exceptions:
- This item cannot be applied to stock Rocket Launcher, but may be applied to the strange variants.
- This item cannot be applied to the Rocket Jumper.
- This item can be applied to the Cow Mangler 5000, but will not cause any Squash Rockets effect.
Equipping with a weapon enchanted with Squash Rockets causes similar effects in certain Magic Spells cast by the player, specifically changes to the projectile and explosion effects of those spells; examples: Fireball, Tesla Bolt, and Meteor Storm projectiles gain a purple trail and MONOCULUS explosions become orange.
Prior to Scream Fortress 2015, it could be found during Halloween events inside of Haunted Halloween Gifts on Ghost Fort, or from a Pile Of Curses.
