'The Ullapool Caber' is a melee weapon for the Demoman added with the December 17, 2010 patch. It appears as a World War II-era German "potato-masher" grenade, with the Mann, Co. logo stamped on the head.
The explosives contained in the metal 'head' of the grenade are extremely unstable, and will explode upon striking against either a solid object (such as a wall, floor, etc) or an enemy, consistently reducing the Demoman to 75 HP in the ensuing blast. Once the grenade explodes, the twisted metal shards of the grenade inflict standard melee damage. Respawning or visiting a Supply Room will restore the grenade to working order.
