The Crowbar is a scrapped melee weapon for Team Fortress 2. It is likely that just as in Team Fortress Classic, the Crowbar was intended to be the standard melee weapon for all classes and it was scrapped when it was decided that each class would possess individual melee weapons. This is reinforced by the model's quality and poly count, showing that it was scrapped early on before the developers started working with a higher poly allowance. The texture is also of a lower quality than the final models.
Trivia
