October 26, 2012 Patch (Spectral Halloween Special)
- The Bat Outta Hell was added to the game.
- [Undocumented] The Bat Outta Hell is no longer halloween-restricted.
Bugs
- This weapon uses the incorrect skins in client view.
- This item's level does not show up in the backpack or loadout. This is because the item type is assigned to a text string that does not exist.
- This item's style names are incorrectly labeled as #TF_Skullbat_Style0, #TF_Skullbat_Style1, #TF_Skullbat_Style2 and #TF_Skullbat_Style3.
- Some voice commands with animations, like "Move Up", will cause this weapon to float in the air.
- The weapon model, on rare occasions, will deform when it crits.
Trivia
- The name of this item is a reference to the idiom "a bat out of hell", usually used as a simile. "He got out of there like a bat out of hell" - i.e., very quickly. [1]
- This item's original name and description are references to Yorick, a character in the Shakespearean tragedy Hamlet.
