The Chromatic Corruption is a tool item. It can be found inside of Haunted Halloween Gifts on Ghost Fort, or from a Pile Of Curses, during Halloween events.
Upon use, this Spell will allow you to temporarily paint a hat.
The color of this spell resembles A Deep Commitment to Purple, but shifts from lighter to darker over time.
Halloween Spell effects and any unused Halloween Spell items are removed at the end of a Halloween event.
