Exorcism is a tool item. When applied to a weapon, any kills with that weapon will cause team-colored ghost particles to rise from the corpse of the victim.
Prior to Scream Fortress 2015, It could be found during Halloween events inside of Haunted Halloween Gifts on Ghost Fort, or from a Pile Of Curses.

- Enabled Halloween Spell Potions
- Effects will only be visible during Halloween/Full Moon events.

- Updated Halloween Spells to be tradable
December 17, 2015 Patch (Tough Break Update)
- [Undocumented] Halloween spells are no longer tradable.
- Fixed the Exorcism effect not working for Wrangler kills
Bugs
- The backpack icon incorrectly uses the coloring overlay intended for paint cans.
- When a weapon with the Exorcism spell activates a Spy's Dead Ringer, no ghosts appear.
- The Exorcism spell cannot be applied to Stock weapons.
- Sometimes the Exorcism spell doesn't show up when applied to the Stickybomb Launcher.
Notes
- Any unused Halloween Spell items are removed at the end of a Halloween event.
