The name "Ambassador" most likely alludes to one film in particular from the series, Template:W.

The pose sometimes made while taunting with the Disguise Kit is a reference to the Spycrab, the fan-named result of a player selecting the Disguise Kit, looking straight up, crouching, and walking. Doing this results in the Spy holding both arms over his head while looking forward. The fashion in which he walks in this position is similar to a crab walking on land. The likeliness of performing this taunt is estimated to be a one in ten chance.
