The Spycrab is a community-created promotional cosmetic item for the Spy. It adds a crab with a team-colored balaclava and cigarette, styled after the Spy, which sits on his left shoulder. The balaclava goes over the crab's legs and pincers, which grow out the top of its head.
When players equipped with this item kill an enemy unassisted by another player, the killfeed shows everyone in Pyroland that it gets the assist, with its custom name if it has one.
This item is awarded in Genuine quality to players who purchased a Spycrab Plush from the Valve Store or WeLoveFine and activate the code sent with it.
The Spycrab was contributed to the Steam Workshop.

Trivia
- The item is a reference to a longstanding animation bug with the Disguise Kit in which the player appears to crouch and walk like a crab. This bug was also referenced by one of the Disguise Kit's taunts.
- A silhouette of this item also appears on the texture used for the Woodland Warrior, a skin for the Rocket Launcher that appeared in the Gun Mettle Update.
