'The Ullapool Caber' is a melee weapon for the Demoman added with the December 17, 2010 patch. It appears as a World War II-era German "potato-masher" grenade, with the Mann, Co. logo stamped on the head.

The explosives contained in the metal 'head' of the grenade are extremely unstable, and will explode upon striking against either a solid object (such as a wall, floor, etc) or an enemy, consistently reducing the Demoman to 75 HP, as well as propelling him upward in the ensuing blast. Once the grenade explodes, the twisted metal shards of the grenade inflict slightly reduced melee damage. Respawning or visiting a Supply Room will restore the grenade to working order.
