Scream Fortress XI or Scream Fortress 2019 is the Halloween event that commenced on October 1, 2019, with the in-game announcement of activation of the Halloween map menus and holiday-restricted cosmetics. One week later, the October 10, 2019 Patch added 2 new community Halloween maps, 22 new community cosmetic items, 5 new community holiday-restricted cosmetic items, and 20 new Unusual effects. The patch reactivated the free Halloween Contracts for the ConTracker for the Event with 2 new contracts added to cover the new Halloween maps.
Timeline
On October 1, 2019, holiday-restricted cosmetics were activated, and Soul Gargoyles began collecting souls.
On October 1, 2019, the Special Event menu for past Halloween maps was added to the Casual mode selection.
On October 10, 2019 Patch, Halloween Contracts were activated and the Special Event menu for the featured new Halloween maps was added.
The event is scheduled to run until November 7th, 2019.
