The Demoman after getting a hole-in-one

Nessie's Nine Iron is a community-created melee weapon for the Demoman. It is a standard silver golf club with a brown grip.

This weapon functions identically to the Eyelander.

Trivia

  • The name of this weapon is derived from the mythical Loch Ness Monster (nicknamed Nessie), which is reputed to live in Loch Ness, Scotland.
  • The modern 18 hole game of golf was invented in Scotland, the Demoman's homeland.
  • Nessie's Nine Iron is a left-handed golf club.
  • Although the weapon is nominally a 9 iron club, it also shares traits with a 7 iron, such as the curve of the sole. However, the loft (the angle between the face and the shaft, which is what determines the club's number) is perpendicular to the shaft, unlike any other iron; the closest club type like this would be a putter.
