The Demoman on turning while charging

Ali Baba's Wee Booties are a primary weapon for the Demoman. They are a pair of steel pointed boots, curved up at the tip.

These boots provide the player with a +25 health bonus. In addition, they double the player's turning control while charging with either the Chargin' Targe or Splendid Screen, allowing the Demoman's charge to be maneuvered more easily.

  • A Spy disguised as a Demoman with the Wee Booties equipped will have no feet.

Trivia

  • The increased turning control was originally an exploit with the Chargin' Targe; the exploit can be performed using any controller with analog sticks in conjunction with the mouse; both forms of input were accepted and compounded into more significant turning control. Alternatively, a player can simply bind a button to '+left' or '+right' in the console. The patch in which this weapon was added was originally supposed to fix this, but the exploit remains.
  • Template:W is a fictional character from the story "Ali Baba & the Forty Thieves", a short story featured in the book Template:W, the latter of which was the inspiration for the Demoman's One Thousand and One Demoknights pack.
  • The boots are styled after a particular form of shoe curved at the toe that was popular in the Middle East between the twelfth and nineteenth centuries.
