(Bugs: - A complex bug, I tried my best writing it. You can try out in-game and rewrite if you wish. Basically, equip an Action slot item, touch a resupply, go far away from the resupply, and equip back the ConTracker.)

Deleting the Jungle Inferno ConTracker and purchasing a new one resets the item's stats, but not the completed contracts, blood money, stars, and redeemed rewards. Consequently, deletion after completing any contracts prevents the Jungle Inferno ConTracker from reaching Australium rank. Contracts cannot be activated after deleting the Jungle Inferno ConTracker until a new one is purchased.

* Sometimes, the player model does not switch away from the "checking ConTracker pose", resulting in the player getting stuck in this animation.
* If the player is holding the [[Medi Gun]] while the animation is playing, the player will be stuck until they switch weapons, die, or rejoin.

* If the Jungle Inferno ConTracker has Bronze, Silver, or [[Australium]] texture, it will not appear as its texture in the [[Loadout]] menu until the player is in a game, defaulting to the Gravel texture.

* If the player opens the taunt menu, then opens the Jungle Inferno ConTracker, then closes the ConTracker while at the same time pressing the key to use a taunt, the taunt will play audio (laugh of The [[Schadenfreude]], music of [[Conga]], and voicelines for that specific taunt.) and spawn props (balloon in Party Trick, pool in Pool Party), but the player's model will be stuck in the "checking ConTracker pose" until the taunt is canceled.

* The "checking ConTracker pose" animation plays whenever the ConTracker is selected as an Action slot item in the Loadout menu, and it's not checked if it's equipped on your actual current loadout. With that, it's possible to hold other items on the Action slot, such as the [[Fancy Spellbook]] and the [[Power Up Canteen]], by having them equipped on your current loadout, then switching to the Jungle Inferno ConTracker without touching a [[resupply]].

Revision as of 17:02, 27 August 2024

This article is about the Jungle Inferno ConTracker, the action item that grants access to the premium Jungle Inferno Contracts. For the Main Menu contract-tracking user interface, see ConTracker.

The Jungle Inferno ConTracker is an action item for all classes. It is a handheld PDA with colored plating, changing in appearance as the player progresses in the Jungle Inferno Campaign.

The item grants access to premium Jungle Inferno contracts for the campaign's duration. It also provides additional ways to open the ConTracker application. The player adopts a unique pose when the item is equipped (the player's view model shows no sign of the animation).

The item counts Contract Points earned on Jungle Inferno Campaign Contracts, Contract Points contributed to Friends through Friendly-Fire, and successful kills by the user. Contract Points are gained by scoring points in game, subject to class, weapon, or role restrictions defined in Contracts. At the end of each round, Contract Points scored on the active Jungle Inferno Contract during that round are credited to the player's Jungle Inferno ConTracker.

As an Action Item, it occupies the same equip region as spellbooks. When equipped in the Action Slot, opening a contract (default key: F2) plays a unique animation in-game.

Leveling Up

The Jungle Inferno ConTracker starts at Gravel quality and is leveled up at 2500, 5000, and 6840 Contract Points. The model of the Jungle Inferno ConTracker changes to reflect its progress.

Leveling up to Australium requires obtaining 6840 Contract Points, which is only possible after completing all Primary and Bonus Objectives.

Blood Money

Blood Money is currency awarded to players after turning in Jungle Inferno Contracts with a completed Primary Objective. If Blood Money is listed as a reward for a Contract, the player receives the amount listed (maximum of 4000 total). Blood Money may be used to purchase merchandise available in the Mercenary Park Gift Shop. Certain items, such as the Jungle Jackpot War Paint Case, have a limited supply, becoming unavailable after a set amount is purchased. If a player exhausts the supply of the limited items (with a total cost of 1600 Blood Money), they will have 2400 Blood Money left over to use on the remaining items. Blood Money cannot be traded or otherwise transferred between players.
