Ah, that's the stuff!
The Demoman on ammo's charge-refilling benefits

The Persian Persuader is a community-created melee weapon for the Demoman. It is a scimitar with a brass hilt shaped to resemble the Loch Ness Monster's head, and along with that is a bloodied blade.

Hitting enemies with this weapon refills 20% charge on the Demoman's respective shields, and also turns ammo pickups into charge, allowing for more frequent charging. As the downside, the user's primary and secondary weapons' reserve ammo are reduced by 80%, giving the user little more than a magazine of explosives.

Similar to the Eyelander, this weapon has a 50% increased melee range and 75% slower deploy/holster speed, and it cannot deal random Critical hits, forcing players to rely on the Chargin' Targe and the Splendid Screen's special ability or a Crit boost to deliver any Critical hits.

Taunting with the Persian Persuader equipped results in the Barbarian Swing kill taunt.
