The Jungle Inferno Campaign is a Campaign that was introduced in the Jungle Inferno Update during which players could complete skill-based contracts to earn Blood Money, War Paints, and unique Cosmetic Items. Participation in the event required a Jungle Inferno Campaign Pass. Using the Campaign Pass converted it to a Jungle Inferno ConTracker and unlocked the Mercenary Park set of Contracts. Using the pass also granted players Campaign case drops and displayed "Yeti hand" rank badges next to their names on the Scoreboard. Tapping on the Yeti rank badge in the Main Menu could produce a Yeti roar. During the Campaign, the Mercenary Park Gift Shop was opened for purchase of items with the Blood Money earned from Contracts. If all Contracts are completed, the maximum amount of Blood Money that a player can earn is 4000.
The Campaign ended on February 14, 2018 Patch; however, access to the Mercenary Park Contract Set and their rewards continued for players owning the Jungle Inferno ConTracker and access to the Pyroland Contract Set continued for all players. The Jungle Inferno Campaign Pass was removed from the Mann Co. Store, and was replaced by the Jungle Inferno Contracts Pass offered at half the price of the original pass. This replacement pass only grants the purchaser the Jungle Inferno ConTracker and the Premium Contract access; the Campaign case drops and Yeti rank badges are no longer active in the game. The Mercenary Park Gift Shop remains open.
The Mercenary Park set of Contracts are Premium Contracts. Like Free Contracts, Premium Contracts are navigated and managed using the ConTracker and may be completed and turned in for Rewards and Stars. However, the Jungle Inferno ConTracker tracks and levels on Contract Points earned on Premium Jungle Inferno Contracts.
After users complete Primary or Bonus Objectives, they obtain a Contract Star for each Objective turned in. Contract Stars allow users to unlock other contracts. A few Contracts require a higher amount of stars to unlock, for example, the Mercenary World Contract requires 20 Stars to unlock.
Jungle Inferno Contract Points (CP) are gained by scoring points in the game during the Campaign, subject to restrictions (such as class, weapon, or role restrictions) defined in the Jungle Inferno Contracts. On most Contracts, earning 100 CP by any action listed for the Contract completes the Primary Objective. Bonus Objectives define additional ways to score higher Campaign Points on the Contract.
- The Primary Objective actions can earn up to 100 CP.
- The first Bonus Objective actions can earn up to 60 CP.
- The second Bonus Objective actions can earn up to 30 CP.
Any Contract Points earned on Bonus Objectives while the CP count for the Primary Objective is less than 100 CP "count double", once for the Bonus Objective and once more for the Primary Objective. Contract Points awarded for Bonus Objective actions are usually significantly greater than the Primary Objective CP award and so can significantly speed the completion of the Primary Objective and earning of Contract Points. Thus, a Player can earn up to 190 CP from actions on each Jungle Inferno Contract activated during the Campaign. With 36 Contracts available in the Jungle Inferno Campaign, the maximum total of CP a Player can earn in the Campaign is 6840 CP.
To earn the Australium Jungle Inferno ConTracker, all Primary and Bonus Objectives in the Jungle Inferno Campaign must be completed to earn the required 6840 Contract Points.

Mercenary Park Contracts rewards strategy
- This section is about strategy for obtaining Mercenary Park Contracts rewards. For strategy on completing individual contracts or Objectives, see Contract strategy.
Various strategies can be applied to selection and completion of Mercenary Park Contracts for the for the rewards offered by the set, depending on individual Players interests and objectives and how much time they are willing or able spend on the Contract set. Many Players have goals short of earning the Australium Jungle Inferno ConTracker. Players may seek to Level their Jungle Inferno ConTracker (JIC), to earn the Campaign Cosmetics, to obtain the Saxton Select Dragon Slayer War Paint, or to obtain Keyless War Paint Cases.
- Friendly-Fire, if regularly available, can greatly accelerate the Leveling of the Jungle Inferno ConTracker and acquisition of rewards.
- Usually, the action of at least one of the two Bonus Objectives is relatively easier to perform, and often enable the Player to earn CP and complete the Primary Objective at an accelerated rate. Contract Points earned against Bonus Objectives before the Primary Objective is completed count double, sometimes a few CP more than double. So, depending on the Player's knowledge and skills, focusing on particular Bonus Objectives can speed the Player through the Contract map.
Leveling the Jungle Inferno ConTracker
The total Contract Points Earned and the Level of the Jungle Inferno ConTracker reflects the time and skill invested in the game and the Contracts:
- Bronze: Earning the complete Monster Mash-Up Pack will likely earn or at least come close to earning the Bronze JIC.
- Silver: Even after completing enough Objectives to obtain all of the available Cosmetics as well as enough Stars to unlock Mercenary World, several additional Objectives are usually required to earn enough Contract Points to Level the JIC to Silver. However, the Silver Level goal allows the Player to skip the several most difficult and time-consuming Bonus Objectives.
- Australium: Leveling the JIC to Australium requires 3-starring every one of the available Contracts, which naturally acquires all other the available rewards; however, this requires significant commitment of time, ability, and/or Friendly-Fire, particularly for finishing the most difficult of the Bonus Objectives that could otherwise be bypassed.
Earning the Cosmetics
- Monstrous Memento: Effectively, this is the Ghastly Gibus of the Mercenary Park Contract Set, requiring scoring no more than 50 times in any Game Mode, in any class, in Casual Mode Match Making. Doing so will get the Player 1.5% of the way to an Australium Jungle Inferno ConTracker!
- Saxton: Earning the Saxton only requires opening several of the easiest Contracts of the set, and needs the completion of only 3 Bonus Objectives along the way; but, any class can wear it!
- Monster Mash-Up Pack: The minimum effort to obtain this set notably requires completion of Advance and Expert Offense Contracts, two Offense Weapon Contracts, and one Advance Support Contract. This set also particularly requires the Stars obtained from completing 14 Bonus Objectives somewhere along the way.
- The Kathman-Hairdo requires 7 of those stars and some of the most difficult contracts, but which generally have grindable Objectives. The Abominable Snow Pants is by far the easiest Cosmetic of the pack to earn.
- Since there are enough Bonus Objectives available the direct paths to the items in this set to unlock all of the needed Contracts, this set can be obtained completely by opening only those Contracts on those paths. However, since some of these Bonus Objectives are among the most difficult, it may be quicker to complete the generally easier Bonus Objectives in the Map Contracts instead.
Obtaining the Dragon Slayer War Paint (Unlocking Mercenary World)
The Dragon Slayer War Paint is a reward for Players who have completed many Bonus Objectives, but not necessarily many of the more difficult ones.
- Completing at least some 12 odd contracts is required for unlocking Mercenary World, assuming the main and bonus objectives are completed on each contract. This would require total completion of almost all of the Main and Map Contract Objectives, for example. However, if the Player avoids some of the most difficult Bonus Objectives, the number of Contracts needed to be opened increases significantly, to 20 Contracts, give or take.
- The Map Contracts are particularly helpful in getting most of the 20 Stars needs for unlocking Mercenary World; this group generally has the least difficult Bonus Objectives.
- Try to save the contracts that cost 3 Stars to unlock for last, completing all objectives on these contracts does not gain you any stars.
Obtaining the Keyless War Paint Cases
In particular, the Keyless War Paint Cases are rewards for the Expert Level Contracts that require completion of many Bonus Objectives:
- All but two of the 6 Contracts awarding Keyless War Paint Cases require 3 Stars to unlock, and so, in general, collecting several War Paint Cases would require completing many Bonus Objectives. (See Map Contracts)
- Half of the Keyless War Paint Cases can be obtained by completing the same contracts required to earn all of the Cosmetics in the Contract Set. The remainder of the Keyless War Paint Cases require completion of the Advanced and Expert Level Contracts that can be avoided in the pursuit of the Monster Mash-Up Pack alone.

- The Wrangler Contract's primary objective is to get kills with a Sentry Gun, but does not count kills made with a Mini-Sentry Gun.

- The Dead Ringer Contract can be completed by jumping into an environmental hazard with the Dead Ringer being held (this can be seen here).
- While invulnerable players are unable to contribute to pushing the Payload Cart, they will still gain progress toward applicable Push the Payload Cart bonus objectives if they are nearby.
- Killing a player who is blocking the Payload Cart counts toward applicable Kill an enemy pushing the Cart bonus objectives.
- The Advanced Pyro contract does not count reflected Rescue Ranger bolts as a reflect kill.[1]
