The Shooting Star is a community-created primary weapon for the Sniper. It is a retro-futuristic sniper rifle made from a jury-rigged laser, equipped with a telescopic sight with two fins, a laser sight directly underneath, and team-colored buttons on the sides and back. A parabolic antenna protrudes from the barrel, with a small sphere of team-colored liquid at the tip. The rifle's chassis is made from grayish-green metal, with cream material covering the stock and body.
While scoped in, the rifle plays a unique sound effect when fired.
Enemies killed by the Shooting Star suffer a distinctive death by incineration, where players disintegrate into smoldering orange ash that quickly fades away.
This weapon functions identically to the Machina.
The Shooting Star was contributed to the Steam Workshop.
