The Glow from Below is a community-created cosmetic item for the Sniper. It replaces the Sniper's default hat with a miniature anglerfish that has its mouth wrapped around the top of his head, bearing its sharp teeth. The fish's tail, fins, and hanging lure jiggle along with the Sniper's movement.
This item has two styles, named "Paint: Fins" and "Paint: Body". When unpainted, the "Paint: Fins" style makes it so the fish's body, tail, fins, and mouth have a more similar shade, while the "Paint: Body" style makes them more contrasting, with the body being darker and the other parts being lighter; when painted, the "Paint: Fins" style applies the paint to the fins, tail, and mouth, while the "Paint: Body" styles applies it to the fish's body.
When players equipped with this item kill an enemy unassisted by another player, the killfeed shows everyone in Pyroland that it gets the assist, with its custom name if it has one.
