Similar to the Eyelander, this weapon has a large melee range and cannot roll for random Critical hits. However, the Claidheamh Mòr only imposes a -15 max health on its wielder. It also will not collect heads from decapitated victims, and as such, killing enemies with the Claidheamh Mòr will not increase health or speed. When equipped with the Chargin' Targe, the sword will allow the Demoman to charge for an additional 0.5 seconds, allowing the Demoman to charge further.

The Claidheamh Mòr ( Cly), or ( Cly) is a community-created melee weapon for the Demoman. It is a Zweihänder augmented with a crossguard with side rings and a green and team-colored tartan wrapped around the grip. The blade is splattered with blood.

The weapon was originally created for the Fancy vs. Nasty Update as a replacement for the Eyelander and has since been officially added to the game.
+
Similar to the Eyelander, this weapon has 50% increased melee range and 75% slower deploy/holster speeds, and cannot roll for random Critical hits. However, the Claidheamh Mòr does not collect heads from decapitated victims and makes the user 15% more vulnerable to all damage sources when active. Killing an enemy with this weapon instantly refills 25% of their charge meter. Additionally, this weapon increases the charge duration by half a second, but has to be the active weapon when charging to receive the duration bonus; switching to the Claidheamh Mòr during a charge does not grant the duration bonus. This increased duration does not change the distance required to activate the shield's Mini-Crit and critical damage bonus, it simply extends the window of opportunity to use the bonus.

This article is about the Claidheamh Mòr itself. For other uses, see Claymore (disambiguation).
Right about now you must be wondering how in God's name you're supposed to pronounce Claidheamohmor(sic). The answer: you don't! If you're remotely near one you'll be dead long before you're done injuring your vocal chords anyway!
Claidheamh Mòr publicity blurb

The Claidheamh Mòr (Icon external link wav.png/'kʰlɪʝɛv moːɾ/ cly-uv more), or (/'kʰlɪʝɛu moːɾ/ cly-eau more) is a community-created melee weapon for the Demoman. It is a Zweihänder augmented with a crossguard with side rings and a green and team-colored tartan wrapped around the grip. The blade is splattered with blood.

Taunting with the Claidheamh Mòr equipped results in the Barbarian Swing kill taunt.

The weapon was originally created for the Fancy vs. Nasty Update as a replacement for the Eyelander, and has since been officially added to the game.
