Trivia
- Currently, the Pyro is the only class with his taunt set left untouched from the game's release (excluding the kill effect applied to the Hadouken). This means the Pyro also has the least number of taunts (the Spy has a chance of performing a "spycrab" taunt).
- The Primary taunt may have been inspired by a scene in the original "Star Wars" film, where a Tusken Raider performs a similar celebration with his weapon after knocking Luke Skywalker unconscious.
- The Hadouken was the first killtaunt shared by two weapons.
- The ability to taunt kill was added on the Pyro's update, making it the first taunt kill in the game.
