There can be only one! ...Aye...
The Demoman

Upon taunting with the Eyelander sword equipped, the Demoman brings his sword up in one hand, twirls it, and then slashes it horizontally at neck level, decapitating anyone slow, unaware or simply unfortunate enough to be standing in front of him at the moment of the swing. He then uses his fingers to wipe his sword clean, and assumes his idle position again. It is necessary to kill someone using this taunt to gain the 'Scotch Tap' achievement.

As a taunt, this can still be used during Humiliation (despite being visually disarmed) to kill the winning team members as they come barreling into your spawn, as well during Stalemate, although the achievement cannot be obtained during either of these times.

Killing a player with this taunt adds a head to the Eyelander's meter but does not count towards any achievements that count the Eyelander's kills.

This taunt will still decapitate if the target is standing directly on top or underneath of the Demoman.

Trivia

  • Decapitated enemy models simply have many vertexes at the neck pinched together. The result is a pointy stub of a neck.
  • There is an unused "decapitated" model located in the game files which depicts a clean cut neck, located in the Soldier directory.
