A little of the ol' 'chop-chop'!
The Sniper

The Kukri is the melee weapon for the Sniper class. It is essentially a Kukri, namely a heavy Nepalese Knife.

Snipers proficient with this weapon will be able to take down Spies aiming to catch a player offguard, as well as most other classes that may attempt to attack at close range.

The Critical hit animation of the Kukri is a double handed overhead swing, similar to the Pyro's normal melee attack and the Eyelander's Critical swing.

Trivia

  • Valve Weapon Statistics incorrectly lists this weapon as a "Club"; this is because the game files refer to the weapon as "tf_weapon_club".
  • The Kukri is a dagger that originated in Nepal and was used as a weapon, tool, and for religious purposes.[1]
