Unlike some of the other tracks, this track stays relatively within the key, not as chromatic as tracks such as [[Team Fortress 2 (Main Theme) (Soundtrack)|the main theme.]] This structure helps the song sound more suave and cohesive, differentiating it from the more 'rebellious' sounds of other tracks. The song does rise in half-steps for the crescendo, but does so in a very predictable and structured pattern. This builds the song into a slightly-unresolved finish, giving a very large, climactic feel to the track. Similarly, this song is in F Minor instead of the more common E Major across the soundtrack, making it feel both unique but still consistent.

Analysis

Key: F Minor
Time Signature: 4/4
Tempo: 110 BPM
Length: 1:19
Release Date: June 17, 2014
Update: Love & War
Composer: Mike Morasky

This song carries a much funkier sound than many other in the game. Its speed falls towards the middle of the spectrum of songs featured in the soundtrack. The intro features a much thicker bass line, unresolved guitar parts, and a hi-hat that functions as a metronome. The brass outlines the Fm7 chord. The main element driving the song is the percussion, which switches into a cymbal-heavy rock groove while most of the parts around it stay the same. Highlighting this, the drums have a more reverberant sound, while the other instruments have relatively dry signals. A third guitar layer is introduced, playing a D#6 triad on the top three strings. This partial chord voicing is typical for funk music, cutting out the low-end of the guitar to make room for the bass and drums.

Unlike some of the other tracks, this track stays relatively within the key, not as chromatic as tracks such as the main theme. This structure helps the song sound more suave and cohesive, differentiating it from the more 'rebellious' sounds of other tracks.

Trivia

  • The name of the song is a reference of one of the lines the Spy says when he teaches Scout on how to be more romantic.
  • Coincidentally, the song "Dark Necessities" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers bears similarities in the guitar work. Both songs are funk rock, and include the same palm-muted F note being played repeatedly, as heard at this point in the song. The two songs are also in the similar keys, with Seduce Me! in F Minor and Dark Necessities in C minor, the dominant of F minor.
