Right about now you must be wondering how in God's name you're supposed to pronounce Claidheamohmor. The answer: you don't! If you're remotely near one you'll be dead long before you're done injuring your vocal chords anyway!
Fancy vs. Nasty Update description

The Claidheamohmor is a melee weapon for the Demoman. It appears as a Template:W like the Eyelander, featuring a crossguard with side rings, a red and green Template:W wrapped around the grip and a blood-spattered blade. Also like the Eyelander, the Claidheamohmor has a large melee range.

The weapon was originally created for the Fancy vs. Nasty Update and has since been officially added to the game.

Trivia

  • Claidheamh mòr is the Scots Gaelic form of Template:W (literally "sword big"). It is pronounced "clai" (as in the name "Claire") - "v" (or "ph") - "more".
    • The claymore is also an explosive device employed by the military.
  • Although it is named after the Scottish Claymore sword, it appears to be more closely modeled after a Swiss or German Zweihänder with parrierhaken guards above the Template:W.
