*Although the Machete is labeled as a Kukri, this is technically incorrect. A Kukri features a distinctive inward bend on the cutting edge of the knife, while this weapon features a mostly straight blade.

A little of the ol' 'chop-chop'!
The Sniper

The Kukri is the default melee weapon for the Sniper. It is a Template:W, the curved knife made famous by the Indian and Nepalese Gurkhas warriors.

Snipers proficient with this weapon will be able to take down Spies aiming to catch a player offguard, as well as most of other classes that may attempt to attack at close range.

The Critical hit animation of the Kukri is a double handed overhead swing, similar to the Pyro's normal melee attack and the Eyelander's Critical swing.
