A Southern Hospitality é uma arma melee destravável, feita pela comunidade usada pelo Engineer. Aparece como uma Wrench modificada com espinhos e um afiado pedaço do metal no topo.

Striking an opponent with this weapon will cause them to bleed, allowing players to chase fleeing Cloaked Spies. On the other hand, this weapon will not deliver random Critical hits, and players wielding it will have a 20% fire vulnerability.

Equipping the Gunslinger or the Wrench will destroy all existing Buildings.

  • Upgrade Amount per Hit: 25 (Corresponding loss in metal)

  • Bleeding Damage: 3-5 damage per tick, 8.5 damage per second for 5 seconds (42.5 damage total)

  • The Southern Hospitality, as with the Frontier Justice, the Wrangler, and the Gunslinger, appears to have been designed by Radigan Conagher, the Engineer's ancestor. This is shown by a hidden link in the Engineer Update.
  • The model was submittted by WatchMaker| using the contribute page. He suggested the name 'Beat All'. [1]
  • The name "Southern Hospitality" is derived from the same phrase describing the warm and welcoming American South; an ironic statement considering the fact that it is a weapon causing excessive bleeding.
  • The Southern Hospitality is one of two weapons that requires a Scrap Metal to craft, the other being the Pain Train.
  • The Southern Hospitality is the second weapon in the game to cause players to bleed, the first being the Tribalman's Shiv.
  • The Southern Hospitality is the only community-made weapon that was released with a class update.
  • The Southern Hospitality appears to have a bottle opener incorporated at the top, implying the Engineer may also enjoy beer in his spare time.
  • There is also a glitch that allows the Southern Hospitality to be used in conjunction with The Gunslinger. The Gunslinger is not usable and not visible in world view.
  • Since the Polycount update, the Southern Hospitality's kill icon turned lighter gray than normal.
