The Loch-n-Load is a community-created primary weapon for the Demoman. It is a double-barreled break-action grenade launcher.
The weapon fires grenades that travel at approximately 1522 Hammer units per second, or around 65 miles per hour, 25% faster than stock grenades. While having only 75% of the magazine compared to the Grenade Launcher, these grenades inflict moderately more damage than the Grenade Launcher to buildings upon a direct hit; however, the grenades will shatter harmlessly upon hitting anything other than an enemy player or building, causing no damage whatsoever. The grenades additionally have 25% reduced splash radius, making it less effective on clustered enemies.

- The Loch-n-Load was added to the game.
- The Loch-n-Load was added to the Mann Co. Store, made craftable, and included in random drops.

- The Loch-n-Load's kill icon was implemented.
- Fixed players getting set bonuses applied on tournament servers when the server is restricting the player's weapons using the item_whitelist.

- Changes to base grenade damage variance now ensure the Loch-n-Load does not exceed 124 damage on a single hit.
- Removed +25% self-damage penalty.
- Added -25% radius penalty.
- Changed clipsize penalty to -25% (3 grenades per clip) from -50% (2 grenades per clip).
- Loch-n-Load grenades no longer visually tumble when fired.
- Changed +20% damage bonus to +20% damage against buildings.
Bugs
- The achievement Glasg0wned cannot be earned with the Loch-n-Load.
Trivia
- As with the Grenade Launcher, the Loch-n-Load seems to be based on the M79 Grenade Launcher, except it has been modified with the addition of a second barrel. The two barrels are similar to the China Lake Grenade Launcher.
- The Loch-n-Load's name is a pun on the phrase "Lock and Load", a cliché originating from the process of preparing a weapon for firing. "Loch" is a Scots and Scottish English word for lake, and could be a reference to its similarities to the China Lake Grenade Launcher.
- Unlike the Grenade Launcher, the Demoman holds the end of the Loch-n-Load slightly above the crosshair, giving the appearance of firing at an arc. This does not affect the grenade's trajectory.
