The RIFT Well Spun Hat Claim Code is a tool item that allows a player to redeem a "Well Spun Hat" in RIFT. It is given to those who earn the "Riftwalker" achievement. The item has one use, and is used in the backpack screen like a Paint Can or a Mann Co. Supply Crate Key. Players do not have to own RIFT in order to obtain the ticket. The key can be used before the game's official release. Users also do not have to be the owner of the Steam account the item was obtained on to apply its code.

  • Updated the description of the Well Spun Hat Claim Code item

Bugs

  • It is possible to get the Riftwalker achievement and not get the RIFT Well Spun Hat Claim Code, simply by being a Spy and using an enemy teleporter to get this achievement.
  • The Riftwalker achievement can be obtained by killing an enemy after spawning rather than teleporting.

Trivia

  • The associated achievement is identical to the Heavy achievement Five Second Plan, although it is possible to accomplish with any class.
